Icons

: edit or make changes

Clinics

Clinics behave differently to regular courses in that each instance is created when it is assigned to a schedule and destroyed when it is unassigned.
Each clinic instance cannot be edited directly. Edits must be made to the clinic definition itself - the changes will then apply to all instances of that definition.

Department Groups

A department "group" is a filter that determines which course departments can be included together on the same schedule.
Groups work by restricting assignments to courses with departments that are inclusive of a single common group (regardless of how many groups are defined).
When using groups, each course assigned to any given schedule (starting with the first assignment) will dictate which courses are subsequently allowed on that same schedule.
Groups can be set to restrict assignments by department either on an individual "daily" basis or to restrict assignments by department throughout the entirety of a schedule "week".
While groups are active, if a department is left out altogether, all courses under that department will be ignored when making assignments.
Groups can be engaged, changed or overridden at any time without affecting assignments that have already been set.
